Kecerdasan Emosi (EQ) dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Belajar Siswa

Abstract
Emotional intelligence has two important elements, namely empathy and self-control. Students who have emotional intelligence can be easily accepted in their social environment. Emotional intelligence is closely related to self-motivation skills, students who have good emotional intelligence do not easily give up if they face difficulties in the learning process, because these students are skilled at motivating themselves so they can continue to progress. The writing method used in writing this article is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Emotional intelligence greatly influences a person's learning ability. In the process of student learning ability, both IQ and EQ are very necessary. IQ cannot function properly without the participation of EQ. Education at school not only needs to develop students' intellectual abilities, but also needs to develop EQ as well. Emotional intelligence is an important factor that should be possessed by students or learners who have the need to achieve good learning abilities at school.
